SafeStock eBay Oversell Alert — Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you, the merchant operating a Shopify store, and Sognora, which operates SafeStock eBay Oversell Alert. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.
1. What the app does
The app compares the available quantity eBay shows buyers for your active listings with the available inventory in your Shopify store. A SKU is flagged when eBay can sell more than Shopify has available. The app checks hourly after a connection is made and when you choose Scan now.
The app is read-only. It does not create, edit or delete a product, inventory level, listing, price or quantity on Shopify or eBay. It reports a mismatch; you decide whether to correct it.
2. Subscription and billing
The app costs $15.00 per month for each shop after a 7-day free trial. Shopify Billing creates and collects the charge on your Shopify invoice; the app never sees or handles your card details. You can cancel the subscription or uninstall the app from Shopify admin to stop the next charge. If the price changes, Shopify will ask you to approve the new charge before it takes effect.
3. Your responsibilities
- Connect an eBay seller account that has permission to read the listings you want checked.
- Keep your Shopify and eBay SKUs exact and current. Listings that lack a matching SKU cannot be compared.
- Add and maintain an alert email address, and make sure its mail provider accepts alerts.
- Review mismatches and decide how to resolve them before a buyer can oversell an item.
4. Limits of the service
The app provides an independent comparison, not inventory synchronisation or a guarantee against a cancelled order. eBay and Shopify availability can change after a scan, external APIs can be delayed or unavailable, and a listing without an exact SKU match cannot be compared. Email delivery also depends on the receiving mail service. The app records its scan result, but cannot make another service accept an email or prevent a later stock change.
5. Your data
The app stores the data needed to make and show comparisons, including the encrypted eBay refresh token you grant, listing SKUs and quantities, Shopify availability, scan results and your optional alert email. It requests no order or customer access and does not receive buyer data. The details, retention and deletion process are in the Privacy Policy.
6. Ending the agreement
You can disconnect eBay at any time, which deletes the stored authorisation and stops scans. Uninstalling stops scans and alerts immediately. Shopify sends a shop/redact request 48 hours after uninstall; that request deletes the data the app holds for the shop.
7. Warranties and liability
The app is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Sognora is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost sales or a cancelled order arising from your use of the app; Sognora's total liability for a claim relating to the app is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes a right that cannot legally be excluded, or liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
8. Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without removing protections given by mandatory law where you live. Questions go to shin@sognoragroup.com.
